As we may recall, Brabus has succeeded with man alterations it’s made. And the latest news has reported that Brabus has made a rework job with the new Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG. As a result, the B63-620 Widestar becomes the result of the alteration’s efforts.
Brabus has made an improvement on the boost pressure. Besides that, the mapping for ignition and injection has also been recalibrated to get an increasing of power output from 544 hp to 620 hp at 5,750 rpm. And now, the torque will go from 760 Nm to 820 Nm and it is obtainable between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm.
Meanwhile, the development in output numbers will bring the 0-100 km/h time down to only 5.1 seconds along with top speed at 230 km/h. In addition, the Widestar wide-body version vehicle will run in 23″ Brabus Platinum Edition Monoblock F, E or R forged wheels which has been wrapped with 305/35 series rubbers.
In addition to those alterations, a Brabus sport exhaust system along with butterfly valve – two tailpipes on either side which are exiting in front of the rear wheels will be available in either black chrome finish or a standard. And the G-Class’ multifunction steering wheel now brings aluminum shift paddles, and also the altered G comes in a Brabus Dynamic Ride Control suspension along with automatic damper alterations.
