The Celica was always FWD (or AWD for the GT4 model).. This was originally a kind of tribute car to the AE86 Corolla Levin/Trueno.. RWD 2 door coupe with the 4A-GE in it.. But damn it's pretty cool, but did upset a lot of Toyota fan-boys when they mentioned the Boxer motor haha.. Good on Toyota bringing back the FR cars again for the tuners :) I don’t know about it being a Celica reincarnation?
