Recent new has come from SEAT for the issue that SEAT has revealed its new product. Recently, the new 2013 SEAT Ibiza CUPRA has been introduced itself s the production version after the concept of this Ibiza CUPRA was revealed at the Beijing Auto Show 2012. This SEAT Ibiza CUPRA is entering the supermini segment. The company said that this SEAT Ibiza CUPRA will be sold earlier at 2013 in England market. In addition, this SEAT Ibiza CUPRA will go on sale starts at £ 18,825.
The company has said that this hatchback will come with 1.4 TSI engine – with the turbo and supercharger – which can produce the power at 180 hp and the torque at 250 Nm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 kpj can be done just in 6.9 seconds with the top speed at 228 kpj. And the fuel consumption is claimed to be 16.95 kpl. In addition to this engine, SEAT inserts the DSG 7-speed automatic dual clutch transmission. Meanwhile, you now can do the shift gear manually via paddle-shifter.
The company has said that this Ibiza CUPRA is lower than the Ibiza. This new SEAT Ibiza CUPRA has been complemented with the XDS electronic differential lock in order to kill the understeer indications and to enhance the handling while you driving in fast turning. In addition to this XDS electronic differential lock, this car has also been complemented with the ESP or the Electronic Stability Program with the hill start assist.
Matthias Rabe, the Vice President for research and development SEAT has said that the name of CUPRA was derived from the spontaneous power, an agile handling and the fast response. He also said that this Ibiza CUPRA is a perfect example on how SEAT blends the technologies to create a unique and useful package.
